We are looking for an IT Project Manager for the implementation of Odoo for one of our clients. The main task will be to manage the Odoo ERP implementation project, communicate with various stakeholders, track project progress, and ensure the successful adoption of the solution by end users.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze functional requirements from users to ensure a thorough understanding of their specific needs for the Odoo implementation.
- Manage the Odoo implementation project: define the schedule, manage resources, and coordinate between various stakeholders (internal teams, providers, users, etc.).
- Collaborate with external service providers to implement the Odoo ERP, ensuring that both functional and technical requirements are met.
- Monitor the project's progress, check the quality of deliverables, and validate the functionalities developed by service providers.
- Participate in the testing of the Odoo ERP, validate new features, and report anomalies to the technical teams for correction.
- Train end users on how to use the new ERP to ensure successful adoption of the solution.
- Provide first-level support for end users, resolve common issues, and escalate more complex incidents to technical teams or service providers.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of business processes, particularly in production, purchasing, sales, and accounting.
- Experience in IT project management, ideally for ERP implementation projects, with a strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Functional knowledge of the Odoo ERP (a major asset).
- Organizational skills, the ability to define schedules, and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-specialists and ensure smooth information flow.
- Team spirit and effective collaboration with different departments (technical, functional, users).
- A keen interest in new technologies, particularly in the field of ERP and digital transformation of businesses.
- Proficiency in English.
Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in IT project management, preferably with ERP implementations (ideally Odoo).
- Contract Type: Permanent (CDI)
- Work Hours: Full-time
